About the Role
As a Financial Inclusion Specialist, you will work closely with the Collections team, internal departments, external partners, and tenants to provide intensive benefits support. Your focus will be on income maximisation, challenging incorrect decisions, and helping residents avoid debt and potential eviction. You will deliver a service that truly makes a difference.
You will provide expert advice across the full range of state and local benefits, from initial assessments and benefit checks to complex applications and tribunal representation. Managing a varied caseload, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with colleagues across Peabody to ensure early intervention and effective support for vulnerable tenants will be key responsibilities.
In addition, you will run drop-in sessions, respond to enquiries via the duty line, and carry out home visits where needed.

Experience
Experience in benefits casework with up-to-date knowledge of welfare benefits. Ideally experience working in a customer-focused environment and familiarity with social housing.
Knowledge of systems such as AdvicePro and PowerApps is desirable.

Qualifications
