Flat Entrance Door Carpenter (Fire Team)
Location
All regions of London and outskirts. Your starting location will be from your home address. You will be required to attend the River House office in Sidcup, DA14, twice a month.
Hours
Full Time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary
£39,706.50 per annum. You will be provided with an L&Q van for business use only, PDA fuel card, uniform, PPE, and paid parking.
About the Role
Join the Fire Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust to support compliance with the Fire Safety Regulations 2022, which legally require annual inspections of all fire doors in multi-occupied residential buildings over 11 meters high. Reporting to the Fire Safety Supervisor, you will carry out fire door inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs across London and its outskirts, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role involves mobile and field-based work from residents' homes and estates, with occasional office attendance. You will be responsible for evaluating fire doors for correct installation, maintenance, and repair, performing minor repairs and frame adjustments where necessary, and documenting findings accurately using a PDA. A valid UK manual driving licence is essential for this role. Experience
Specialist knowledge and experience of hanging fire doors, fire door sets, second fix carpentry, and fire door maintenance. Working knowledge and understanding of the building and maintenance trades environment.

Qualifications
