Various hours per week. This is an hourly paid role covering Fridays 9.30am - 3.30pm from 18 September 2026 and Thursdays 9.30am - 3.30pm from 5 November 2026.

Salary
£35.59 per hour

About the Role
As a Floristry Tutor within Westminster Adult Education Service, you will provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences on our Level 1 Foundation in Floristry courses. You will support, inspire, and challenge adult learners (19+) from in and around London to fulfil their potential. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering resources, tracking learner progress, providing advice and guidance through one-to-ones and tutorials, marking and assessing work, and identifying progression opportunities. You will ensure learners are challenged, inspired, complete their work timely, and excel in achievement. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Westminster’s diverse communities and be part of a dynamic and growing Creative Industries department.

Experience
Proven experience teaching adults on accredited courses, preferably in floristry. Demonstrated ability to engage, inspire, and motivate diverse groups of learners across mixed abilities.

You will have knowledge of current floristry practice and a genuine desire to help learners develop new skills, progress, and achieve their goals.

Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or equivalent and relevant industry knowledge or current floristry practice are essential.
