About the Role
Join Notting Hill Genesis at a time when strong, effective governance has never been more important. As a Governance Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's senior decision-making forums, working closely with Board and Committee members to ensure meetings are well-run, compliant and impactful. This is a great opportunity for a governance professional who enjoys working at the heart of an organisation, balancing structure with collaboration, and who takes pride in delivering high-quality governance support that helps leaders make confident, well-informed decisions.

In this role, you will support the effective operation of Notting Hill Genesis's governance framework by working closely with the Head of Governance and the Director of Governance and Compliance. You will provide proactive, high-quality support to the Group Board, Committees and Shareholders, managing complex governance activity, coordinating senior stakeholders, and ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory and statutory obligations.

Your responsibilities will include leading the planning and delivery of NHG's governance calendar, supporting at least one committee with agenda preparation, minute-taking, recording decisions and maintaining accurate records. You will organise and administer AGMs, general meetings and special general meetings, deliver timely communications to Board members and Shareholders, and support recruitment, induction, appraisal and retirement processes for Board, committee and joint venture members.

Additionally, you will maintain and improve governance systems and processes with a digital-first and continuous improvement approach, support learning and development activities for Board and committee members, ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, manage governance inbox queries on a rota basis, and process Board expenses and remuneration arrangements.

This role offers the chance to work at the heart of NHG's decision-making processes, contributing to strong governance, transparency and compliance across the Group.
