About the Role
Procurement at Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) is evolving, presenting an exciting opportunity to join a function focused on delivering compliant, value-driven outcomes. As a Procurement Manager (Level 2), you will play a hands-on role managing procurement activities across a diverse portfolio including property-focused, construction, development, and maintenance categories. With NHG spending over £700 million annually, this role offers exposure to complex, high-value procurement projects that make a tangible difference to the organisation and the communities it serves.
You will drive NHG's procurement strategy, ensuring delivery of high-quality, compliant services aligned with the mission to improve lives across London's communities. Your expertise will secure value-for-money contracts, manage supplier relationships, and uphold the highest standards of probity, directly contributing to corporate success and resident well-being.
Key responsibilities include delivering and supporting procurement projects in compliance with Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023, embedding NHG's core values into supplier agreements, supporting risk management strategies, maintaining the Contracts Register, and ensuring all activities meet statutory, regulatory, and ethical standards. You will partner with internal teams to deliver tailored procurement solutions, provide supplier appraisal insights, contract management training, negotiate cost-effective outcomes balancing quality and value, and produce actionable reports for senior leadership to optimize procurement processes and decision-making.

Experience
- Proven experience delivering or supporting procurement programmes with employee, customer, and stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- Experience in building and managing effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of procurement legislation, standards, procedures, and techniques relevant to a Registered Provider
- Ability to analyse data and provide insights to support procurement delivery
- Advanced IT and system skills including Microsoft Office

Qualifications
- Holds or is actively working toward Level 4 Diploma in Procurement & Supply
- Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
