About the Role
The Head of Finance AI and Transformation leads the development and implementation of the Finance, Performance, Risk and Assurance (FPRA) technology roadmap to enhance digital maturity and accelerate organisational digital goals. You will collaborate with senior FPRA and business leaders to create a technology strategy aligned with organisational priorities and finance process requirements, acting as the key translator of this strategy to stakeholders.
You will own the development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of FPRA-specific technologies including cloud-based ERPs, automation tools, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning solutions. Monitoring emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend future investments will be a key responsibility.
As a champion of financial technology solutions, you will provide guidance and training to business teams to ensure adoption and proficient use of new finance technologies. You will also develop and mentor your team to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Key responsibilities include managing existing finance-specific technology and systems, building and communicating a long-term technology roadmap, leading finance technology innovation, optimising technology costs, partnering effectively with corporate IT, monitoring technology performance, driving user self-sufficiency, and ensuring compliance with governance policies.
Experience
- Significant experience implementing emerging solutions including AI, ML, data architecture, and intelligence.
- Proven leadership in end-to-end delivery and optimisation of enterprise finance platforms (e.g. Oracle Fusion ERP) in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Deep understanding of data governance, GDPR, and cybersecurity controls, particularly for cloud ERPs and analytics platforms.
- Experience building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, especially Corporate IT.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, PMP or academic qualifications in IT, computer science, finance, or related fields.

- Desirable: Experience managing technology provider relationships, contract negotiation, and procurement compliance.
- Desirable: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Platform.
