About the Role
Ealing Council have an exciting opportunity for six full-time Housing Officers. You will deliver a highly professional, customer-focused Housing Management service through estate-based hubs, residents’ homes, and hybrid working. This role requires flexibility and the ability to manage changing priorities effectively.

Working within the Resident Services Department, you will help manage the council’s housing stock and provide a holistic housing service tailored to meet residents’ individual needs and preferences for accessing services.

As part of a housing hub team, you will provide a visible and accessible housing management service across a range of tenures. Your responsibilities will include tenancy management of a designated patch of properties, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the tenancy, efficient letting of homes, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies, estate management, safety of residents and assets, estate inspections, and resident engagement.

The role is complex and requires creative and innovative approaches to tackle local challenges. You will act as a crucial interface between residents and other council and external services, helping to improve the lives of residents across the borough.

This position is subject to Ealing Council’s enhanced vetting process and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, with evidence requested at interview.

Experience
