About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated educator looking to make a real impact on young minds? We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Humanities teacher to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our children and young people. You will plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people. You will foster a positive learning environment that supports educational and personal growth, assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback and support. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community is essential to ensure student success. Additionally, you will participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities.
Experience
A teaching degree or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) are required. Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal, but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome. Experience in teaching Humanities National Curriculum is essential.
About you
You should possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
Qualifications
A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
