About the Role
At Via, our mission is to provide the best health and wellbeing support to as many people as possible, helping them to change their lives for the better. Last year, we supported over 11,000 people across the UK affected by alcohol and drug use. Everything we do is driven by our values: Care – care for people is at the heart of everything we do; Be human – we are accessible, genuine and humble, always learning; Do the right thing – we’re open, honest and inclusive, and we get things done.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation as an experienced Independent Prescriber for our Greenwich Service. We welcome applicants with a background in nursing or pharmacy.
With a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for people accessing our services, you will have sound, demonstrable experience of prescribing to individuals with substance use disorders, alongside expertise in harm reduction and health promotion interventions. You will join a vibrant body of clinicians across Via's wider national workforce, participating in regular meetings for peer support, case discussion, and continuing professional development.
This role is more than just a job – you will help people rebuild their lives, reconnect with family and friends, return to work or education, and much more. We are looking for compassionate individuals with excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
