About the Role
We are seeking an empathetic and non-judgemental individual with a passion for working with a wide variety of challenging scenarios and behaviours. Through a range of interventions, you will encourage individuals to develop external interests, build on their support networks, and develop recovery capital to support their community reintegration.

Arch Hillingdon is a free and confidential service for young people and adults who live or are registered with a GP in Hillingdon. Many people turn to alcohol or drugs as a way of coping with negative feelings such as depression, stress, trauma, or anxiety. We work with people at any stage of their alcohol or drug difficulties, providing a single point of access to assessment and treatment.

We recognise the importance of addressing both substance misuse problems and any associated emotional or mental health issues to provide holistic support and effective recovery pathways.

Experience
Experience working with individuals facing complex and challenging behaviours is desirable. A compassionate and non-judgemental approach is essential.

You should be passionate about helping people build positive support networks and develop recovery capital. A dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and dignity in the workplace is important.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or substance misuse are advantageous but not mandatory. Appointment to this role is subject to satisfactory safeguarding checks including DBS and adherence to safer recruitment principles.
