About the Role
We are recruiting to the post of Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit, Anti-fraud and Risk Management Team within the Resources Directorate. As an Internal Auditor, you will undertake a varied programme of risk-based audits and reviews, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal control arrangements. You will work with services across the Council to identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of efficient, effective and accountable public services.

You will be responsible for planning and conducting audit assignments, analysing complex information, preparing clear audit reports and presenting findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications
Ideally, you will hold or be working towards a relevant professional qualification such as IIA, CIA, CMIIA, ACCA, CIPFA or CIMA.
