About the Role
We are recruiting for a Social Worker/AMHP to join our Stepney and Wapping Neighbourhood Mental Health Service. If you are passionate about achieving positive outcomes and meet the experience and qualification requirements, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
1. Carry out responsibilities under mental health legislation and regulations including, where applicable, Approved Mental Health Professional duties.
2. Maintain effective liaison and working relationships with mental health agencies and service providers.
3. Attend case conferences, case meetings, and team meetings as required.
4. Participate in office duty arrangements and on-call duties.
5. Develop and implement plans aimed at resettling people with severe mental illness.
6. Conduct Care Act assessments, reviews, and safeguarding.
7. Undertake care coordination.
8. Work collaboratively with other partners and with families/carers.

Experience
Relevant experience in social work and mental health services, including knowledge of mental health legislation and Approved Mental Health Professional duties.
About you
Passionate and committed to achieving positive outcomes for service users. Able to work collaboratively with partners, families, and carers. Comfortable working mainly face-to-face on site and participating in duty and on-call arrangements.
Qualifications
Appropriate social work qualifications and registration. Approved Mental Health Professional qualification or willingness to undertake AMHP training if not already qualified.
