About the Role
We are recruiting an Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit, Anti-fraud and Risk Management Team within the Resources Directorate. In this role, you will undertake a varied programme of risk-based audits and reviews, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal control arrangements. You will collaborate with services across the Council to identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of efficient, effective and accountable public services.

You will be responsible for planning and conducting audit assignments, analysing complex information, preparing clear audit reports and presenting findings and recommendations to management. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a highly professional Internal Audit team committed to delivering quality internal audit services and achieving positive outcomes.

Experience
Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management or assurance activities is essential.

Qualifications
