About the Role
The Justice AI Academy offers emerging talent the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on high-impact AI projects across the justice system.
As a Creative Intern, you will collaborate with engagement, adoption, product, and engineering teams to communicate the work of the Justice AI Unit in clear, creative, and accessible ways.
This is a hands-on development role where you will take ownership of defined pieces of work, receiving mentoring and support from experienced colleagues. You will not be responsible for communications strategy, line management, or senior stakeholder management.
The role supports the ambitions of the AI Action Plan for Justice by helping people understand and engage with AI, supporting responsible adoption, and building capability for the future.
Regular attendance at the London office is required to work with the team, capture content, support events, and benefit from hands-on mentoring and development.

Good organisation, ability to meet deadlines, confidence in taking ownership of your work, a proactive and collaborative approach, and curiosity about AI, technology, and public services are essential.
