The Career Cluster of Health, Wellbeing & Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Health and Social Care. The role involves tutoring and course management of Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programmes as well as teaching across all programmes. You will coordinate the effective delivery of Social Care study programmes across various levels, providing academic leadership, creating an engaging and relevant curriculum aligned with local and national priorities.
As a Lecturer, you will maintain up-to-date industry knowledge, engage industry professionals where possible, and support and motivate learners to meet their individual aspirations and goals. You will coordinate tracking of learner achievements and lead study programmes to achieve outstanding student retention, progression, and achievement. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively and creatively within a team are essential.
Applicants with current teaching experience should be familiar with the CACHE curriculum. We encourage applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines in both practice and theory. Candidates with industry experience are also welcome and will have the opportunity to work towards a recognised teaching qualification (Level 4 PGCE/CertEd or Level 5 qualification) upon appointment.
Experience
Experience in teaching Health and Social Care or related vocational programmes is desirable. Familiarity with the CACHE curriculum is advantageous. Candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
