About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, outstanding candidate to join our support staff at United Colleges Group as an Exams Officer. United Colleges Group (UCG) is a forward-thinking education provider with a mission to deliver outstanding, world-class education and skills.
UCG provides education to over 11,000 learners annually, including 16–18-year-olds, adults, apprentices, and students with high needs. With an annual turnover exceeding £50 million, we are one of the top 20 largest college groups in the UK. We offer education and training across almost all vocational areas at various levels for learners of all ages and starting points.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds across London and beyond. In the academic year 2022-23, we enrolled more than 3,500 full-time 16-18 students, 8,000 adult learners, and over 450 apprentices across our Group. We currently enrol over 250 higher education students per year across four campuses, offering 12 courses ranging from STEM subjects (Science, Construction, Engineering, and Computing) to Business, Music, and Professional Qualifications.
We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled, and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first. We are now looking for an Exams Officer to join our vibrant and dedicated Examinations Team.

Experience
Proven experience working in a busy administration or examinations office is essential. You will have experience managing examination registrations and entries with a variety of awarding bodies and providing administrative support within an Exams Team.
About you
You are a keen, enthusiastic, conscientious, and proactive individual with excellent organisational skills. You are effective in planning and prioritising a heavy workload and meeting conflicting deadlines. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to liaise with a broad range of people including awarding bodies, students, and staff are essential.
You are a strong team player with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to help out where needed. Commitment to raising standards within the service is vital.
Qualifications
