About the Role
We are recruiting a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Counselling & Psychotherapy to join our collegiate and expanding team within the School of Psychology. Roehampton is rated among the top three modern universities in London and recognised for excellence in research, particularly in Mental Health, Wellbeing, Neuroscience, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Digital Health. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, specialising in Counselling & Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The role involves teaching, research, and clinical supervision of students and trainees, supporting their development as competent graduates and practitioners. You will also have opportunities to engage in knowledge transfer and research activities, playing a central role in helping the University deliver its strategic priorities over the next five years. Experience
Proven experience teaching in Higher Education, with a focus on counselling and/or psychotherapy. Specialist experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is essential. Experience supporting students and trainees in their professional development is required.
