Part-time, 26.5 hours per week worked on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and alternate Saturdays. Evening working is required.

£38,637 per annum (pro rata)
About the Role
Join Islington Libraries at an exciting time of planned improvements and help deliver high quality services with a strong customer focus. As a Librarian, you will assist in managing a busy branch library and contribute to shaping the future of library services. Your role will include reader development and promoting the service through engaging activities, developing diverse and inclusive stock collections that reflect community needs, and serving the whole community including children, families, and traditionally excluded groups. You will also develop outreach activities and collaborate with partners to increase library membership and service take-up. Excellent people skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are essential. You will work as part of a team and have responsibilities in premises and staff management.

Experience
Previous experience working in a library is essential. Experience in premises and staff management is required.

Qualifications
