About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the London ADASS team as we build our staff and develop the strategic ambitions and priorities for London ADASS. Camden Council is the host organisation for London ADASS (Association of Directors of Adult Social Services), a professional association bringing together directors of adult social care across London to collaborate, share good practice, and promote high standards in social care.

The Programme Manager will advise and collaborate with directors of adult social care, senior leaders, council officers across London, and partners to implement all aspects of the London ADASS programme and priorities, ensuring projects deliver the intended outcomes. You will foster effective partnership working arrangements with key stakeholders and promote a culture of partnership in adult social care across London.

You will lead a portfolio of projects focusing on commissioning, market management (including learning disabilities and autism), data and performance management, and digital innovation in adult social care. Additionally, you will lead a London-wide programme of activities related to equalities, diversity, and inclusion, embedding coproduction fully into all branch work.

The role includes representing London ADASS at regional and national meetings, supporting and leading change programmes, analysing data, and being a flexible, collaborative team member.

This role requires attendance at the Camden Council office at least one day per week, with additional days as required. Remote working only is not suitable for this position.

Experience
Significant senior-level experience in adult social care, including commissioning, market management, and performance management. Proven expertise in project management methodologies and experience working with a wide range of partners.

A strategic thinker committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex issues clearly. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing people. Able to manage multiple projects and balance competing demands effectively.
