Hours
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week. You will work a combination of early and late shifts, with the earliest start at 04:30 and the latest finish at 22:30. All shifts are 8 hours long.
Salary
£14.13 per hour
About the Role
As a Lounge Host at the British Airways Lounges, you will provide a professional, 5-star level of hospitality catering, ensuring company standards are maintained and delivering a consistently positive customer experience. You will greet customers warmly, create a welcoming atmosphere, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly with attention to detail. You will handle customer complaints professionally and courteously, maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the lounge, restock supplies, and assist with inventory monitoring. You will work as part of a team to foster a positive environment, adhere to COSHH regulations and dress code policies, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including proper hand hygiene and sanitation practices.
Due to the location at Heathrow Airport, mandatory pre-employment checks are required, including 5 years of verifiable employment history, a UK DBS check, and, if applicable, an overseas Police Clearance Certificate.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar customer service role is preferred, ideally within a café, hotel, or restaurant setting.
About you
Friendly and approachable with a genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Able to work well under pressure and handle customer complaints effectively.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are explicitly required, but experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
