About the Role

Our Machine Learning Team is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Scientist to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment supporting our Marketing efforts. As an ML II Scientist, you will apply your modeling skills to a wide variety of problem spaces including bidding for online advertising, customer modeling, experimental design, revenue optimization, attribution, recommendations, and lifetime value. You will have access to the newest development tools and large data sets, deploying solutions online and observing their real-time impact as you help the company grow.

What You'll Do
- Work independently and collaboratively in a diverse multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and product managers
- Take ownership of projects and identify new opportunities to apply machine learning to improve business outcomes
- Use machine learning models to solve core marketing business problems across all channels (paid, organic, search, demand creation, affiliates, CRM)
- Automate ETL pipelines
- Prototype, evaluate, deploy, and maintain ML models in production
- Design A/B tests and analyze results
- Discover new ways to analyze and interpret data
- Communicate progress and experimental results to technical and business stakeholders

Experience
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Strong background in machine learning and statistics
- Experience with AB test design and analysis
- Proficiency in Python for numerical/statistical programming (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
- Ability to write and interpret complex SQL queries
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hive and Spark
- Track record of leading deployment and maintenance of ML models
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools

Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field preferred (or Master’s with 2+ years of practical experience)
