About the Role
Join the Materials Team at London and Quadrant Housing Trust (L&Q) as a Materials Maintenance Coordinator. Reporting to the Operations Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for the administration supporting the Direct Maintenance service delivery, ensuring that Direct Maintenance has access to the necessary materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness. This role offers the chance to work alongside a highly motivated team delivering professional and excellent customer service daily, approaching tasks with determination to achieve positive outcomes.
You will work closely with Direct Maintenance suppliers and operatives, contributing actively to a positive working environment aligned with L&Q’s organisational values: People, Impact, Inclusion, Passion and Responsibility. Your daily tasks will include coordinating hire equipment for operatives, processing supplier invoices on IT systems, purchasing materials, managing multiple mailboxes, and using various systems to organise, plan and process data to provide relevant and current information for the team. Accurate data entry and reporting are crucial to success in this role.

Experience
Experience dealing with suppliers and knowledge of maintenance and materials is desirable. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is required. No formal qualifications specified, but relevant experience and skills are valued.
