About the Role
Nomura, a global financial services group, is seeking a Regulatory Technology Business Analyst with strong MiFID experience to support the delivery of regulatory change initiatives within the Regulatory Operations team. This 12-month contract role is based in London and sits within the Regulatory Operations area, working alongside the Change team, Compliance, and Technology. You will be responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, particularly MiFID III (Transaction Reporting), and translating these into clear business and functional requirements. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across Front Office, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to ensure regulatory obligations are accurately implemented within systems and processes. Key responsibilities include analysing regulatory interpretations, conducting gap analyses, designing and implementing solutions with technology teams, producing process flows and documentation, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and supporting UAT planning and execution.
Experience
- Proven experience delivering regulatory change on a contract basis
- Deep understanding of MiFID II/MiFIR regulations
- Experience with regulatory reporting, especially Transaction Reporting
- Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes
- Experience working with Regulatory Reporting systems
- Proficient with tools such as Jira and Confluence
