About the Role
We are seeking an organised, analytical, and customer-focused professional to join our Education Access Service as a Pan London Liaison and Pupil Benefits Officer. This is a six-month secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of extension. The role involves supporting children, families, and schools by coordinating work across London and ensuring pupil benefits are delivered effectively.
Key responsibilities include playing a key role in the operational delivery of the Pan London admissions data exchange, collaborating with local authorities and key partners, processing and maintaining accurate pupil admissions, appeals, and Free School Meal data in line with statutory guidance and deadlines, providing advice and support to schools, parents, and colleagues on admissions, eAdmissions and the Pan London Register, assessing Free School Meal eligibility including complex applications following Department for Education and Department for Work and Pensions guidance, and monitoring data quality to investigate discrepancies and ensure the integrity of education records across council systems.
Experience
Experience working with complex data and administrative processes with excellent attention to detail. Experience within school admissions, education services, local government, or a similar statutory environment is advantageous.

Confident in working with a wide range of stakeholders, strong ICT skills particularly in Microsoft Excel and data management systems, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
