About the Role
Newham Youth Justice Service is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Restorative Approaches Practitioner to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the voice of those harmed is heard and supported within our community. You will work collaboratively with the Youth Justice Service, Metropolitan Police, and Probation to provide improved services to victims of crime. The role focuses on engaging children at risk of offending and their families, while placing victims at the heart of our restorative justice approach. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, multi-agency Youth Justice interventions that include restorative justice activities, supporting victims and tackling disproportionality in the justice system. Experience
Proven experience working within a multi-agency Youth Justice environment or related field, with a strong understanding of restorative justice principles and practice. Experience engaging with victims of crime, children at risk of offending, and their families is essential.
