About the Role
Do you enjoy turning complex data into reporting that helps organisations make better investment decisions? Join the Group Investment Management (GIM) Tooling & Data team at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), providing reporting, analytics and insights that support investment planning and portfolio management across the organisation. Working closely with Technology, Finance and Transformation teams, you will lead the development and support of enterprise reporting solutions used across Group Investment Management.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on Power BI development, offering the opportunity to shape reporting standards, improve team capability and influence the future direction of analytics within the function. Reporting to the GIM Dashboards Owner, you will balance day-to-day delivery with longer-term improvements to reporting architecture, governance and service quality.

Success in this role comes from combining strong technical expertise with sound judgement, helping teams deliver practical, scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to business needs. You will lead a highly visible reporting capability that supports investment and transformation leaders across LSEG, shaping reporting standards, influencing analytics strategy, developing a talented team and delivering impactful insights that drive business decisions across the organisation.

Experience
- Extensive hands-on Power BI experience including advanced DAX, Power Query (M), semantic modelling, performance optimisation and enterprise reporting.
- Strong SQL and SQL Server knowledge with experience in data warehousing, dimensional modelling and data transformation.
- Experience designing and supporting scalable reporting solutions including governance, testing, security and release management.
- Proven experience leading technical or analytics teams and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, challenge constructively and build confidence with senior decision-makers.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments, managing changing priorities and delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications
Relevant technical qualifications or demonstrable experience in Power BI, SQL, data analytics or related fields are desirable. Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform or similar cloud analytics technologies, knowledge of Power Automate, AI-enabled reporting or automation technologies, familiarity with Clarity, Jira, Oracle Fusion or similar enterprise platforms, and experience applying process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma are advantageous but not essential.
