We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Architect to support Finance programmes by delivering a comprehensive data and technology strategy aligned with our Transformation targets. This role requires a passionate and enthusiastic engineer to join a dedicated, collaborative team focused on delivering excellence to our customers.

The successful candidate will review and assess business functional and control requirements, define operational and non-functional requirements, and design technical architecture solutions for Finance that align with organisational technical strategy and standards. You will provide consistent solution views to stakeholders, support vendor selection, assess impacts on the engineering landscape, and ensure technical quality and adherence to LSEG’s Digital Blueprint, Enterprise Architecture, and Product Roadmaps.

You will work closely with business, operations, technology stakeholders, and end-users to build a holistic view of problem statements and mitigation options. Your responsibilities will include analysing business needs and designing complex ecosystems involving CRM, Billing, ERP, Sales & Marketing, and other customer footprint systems. This includes building comprehensive technical designs covering data models, integrations, user interfaces, and security configurations.

Experience
- Proven experience in architecture patterns and flows for Finance.
- Experience with Oracle technologies (DB, Fusion SaaS, ORMB, or EPM) is a plus.
- Expertise in architecture, design, and delivery for Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle) and on-premises environments including integrations.
- Strong understanding of data concepts for capturing and reporting data.
- Ability to independently support Finance streams.
- Previous experience delivering strategic data solutions for Customer, Finance, Compliance, or Risk requirements in banking, financial services, regulated organisations, or B2B sales organisations.
- Experience handling products across different solution models (SaaS, PaaS, managed services).
- Proven track record using industry-standard processes and frameworks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical partners and adapt accordingly.
