About the Role
At Arcadis we focus on attracting, retaining and developing people who share our passion and commitment to improve quality of life. We offer you the opportunity to transform your world and the world around you, whether through client work, upskilling yourself, championing equality and inclusion, or getting involved in charity work. Our people value different perspectives, care about the sustainability of our planet and dare to shape the future. One of our core values is ‘people first’, and supported by our Lovinklaan foundation, we invest in you for the long term to ensure you reach your full potential. You’ll have the opportunity to own your career and work on industry-defining projects, finding solutions to real challenges that make a difference to people’s lives. You’re encouraged to have a growth mindset and are given the space to develop personally and professionally, building a flexible career that works for you.
Our Landscape, Masterplanning and Urbanism (LMU) team is looking for a Landscape Architect to join our growing team of 90+ professionals offering the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning and Urban Design services. These services range from masterplanning, urban regeneration, strategic planning and design concept through to detail and implementation, as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA/TVIA.
In this role, you will have a strong focus on LVIA/TVIA projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including sector-leading in-house environmental disciplines, high-profile designers, and external partners. You will work on some of the UK’s largest, most complex and technically demanding projects, including major large-scale energy generation and transmission projects, important residential and mixed-use developments, and significant infrastructure projects for clients such as National Highways, Canal and River Trust, High Speed Rail 2, National Grid, Network Rail, and Homes England.
We also undertake smaller, equally exciting projects, presenting a rich and varied portfolio of projects and clients at national and local levels, across both private and public sectors. You will be challenged and inspired by projects that demand a variety of ideas and solutions. Collaboration is key at Arcadis, where talented colleagues bring fresh perspectives. While each Arcadian brings their own viewpoint, we are united by a passion for sustainability, collaboration, and a desire to solve the most complex challenges our world faces.
As a global business, we are committed to supporting five of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to ensure our projects contribute to a better and more sustainable future for all. We also strive to make a positive impact on society by supporting local communities where we operate and are committed to becoming a net zero carbon company by 2030.

- Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
