Join the Prisoner Working Supervisor Maintenance Team at HMP Feltham, a C & Under 18's Men's prison, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the facility. HMP Feltham functions like a self-contained city, and your work will impact prisoners, employees, visitors, and the wider community. You will collaborate with a diverse team of skilled colleagues including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment. This role offers the opportunity to use your skills to support rehabilitation and positive change within the prison system. Experience
- Experience in managing small scale refurbishments and projects - Essential
- Experience of supervising staff - Essential
- Understanding of how to use tools and equipment to complete small scale refurbishments - Essential
- Knowledge of working safely and applying health and safety principles - Essential
- Understanding of prisons and prisoner working systems or willingness to learn - Desirable
- Experience managing relationships with various stakeholders - Desirable
