About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life. As a Procurement Business Partner, you will provide strategic procurement leadership for regional projects, shaping sourcing, subcontracting, and contract management approaches. You will partner with delivery leaders to create commercial value, manage supply-chain risk, and improve supplier performance. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary procurement partner for project teams and regional stakeholders, developing sourcing and subcontracting strategies aligned with client and commercial requirements, leading complex negotiations, and overseeing contract variations, claims, and close-out. You will influence make-or-buy decisions using cost and market insights, drive value and risk-reduction initiatives, build strategic supplier relationships, and collaborate with Legal, Finance, Risk, Sustainability, and operational teams. This role requires encouraging early procurement involvement and aligning projects with category strategies and procurement frameworks to deliver sustainable solutions and lasting impact.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within complex, project-based environments. Significant experience in direct/project procurement, strategic sourcing, subcontracting, and contract management. Proven track record leading complex sourcing strategies, negotiations, and contract delivery. Expert knowledge of project procurement, subcontracting, contract lifecycle, commercial risk, and supplier performance.

About you
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify cost, value, and risk-reduction opportunities. Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. Ability to provide strategic procurement leadership and effectively partner with project and regional leadership.

Qualifications
Relevant professional qualifications in procurement or supply chain management are advantageous but not explicitly required. Demonstrated expertise and leadership in procurement within complex project environments is essential.
