About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges together.
The Senior Reward Data & Analytics Specialist provides the data and analytical expertise required to deliver the Pay Transparency Directive (PTD) programme and embed sustainable ongoing operations. This role translates agreed programme principles into practical reporting and analytical solutions, balancing global consistency with country legal requirements, while supporting wider Global Reward priorities.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract role focused on:
- Acting as the principal Reward data and analytics contact for PTD, coordinating requirements across countries, functions, and external partners.
- Providing senior analytical expertise, challenging data quality and assumptions, and recommending methodologies for accurate and defensible reporting.
- Owning the analytical delivery framework and management reporting as a senior individual contributor.
- Supporting the global PTD framework, initially focused on EU implementation and potential extension to other jurisdictions.
- Collaborating with the Programme Manager to maintain delivery plans, track dependencies, report progress, and escalate risks.
The role also involves translating legal requirements into repeatable analytical and reporting processes, leading the technical transition of PTD data activities into Reward, coordinating data validation with country stakeholders, managing data preparation and reconciliation in Syndio, and maintaining documentation to ensure accurate, repeatable, and auditable outputs.
Key responsibilities include conducting pay equity analyses, investigating disparities, preparing statutory pay-gap reports, modelling remediation options, maintaining remediation registers, and partnering with multiple stakeholders across Reward, Payroll, HR, Legal, and external specialists.
Additionally, the role focuses on embedding PTD design into business-as-usual operations, improving data quality and processes through continuous improvement, and automating repeatable activities without compromising accountability or assurance.
Experience
- At least eight years’ progressive experience in Reward or Compensation & Benefits within a complex multinational organisation.
- Significant experience in pay equity, pay transparency, and remuneration analytics.
- Strong working knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and established pay-equity practices.
- Sound understanding of compensation structures, job architecture, benchmarking, and pay progression.
- Advanced analytical and financial-modelling skills with expert Excel capabilities.
- Practical experience with Power BI or equivalent visualisation tools, and Power Query or similar data-transformation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of pay-equity statistical techniques including regression, adjusted and unadjusted gaps, significance, confidence measures, and employee grouping.
- Proven ability to reconcile HR and payroll data and deliver accurate, repeatable, auditable outputs.
- Experience embedding operational processes and governance, ideally transitioning from programme delivery to ongoing operations.
- Ability to work credibly across countries and functions, manage competing priorities and ambiguity, challenge constructively, and exercise sound judgement.
- An independent, investigative, and delivery-focused approach in a changing environment.
About you
You are a senior professional with strong analytical expertise and a collaborative mindset, able to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive complex programmes to successful delivery. You demonstrate sound judgement, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic multinational environment.
Qualifications
- Desirable experience with Syndio or comparable pay-equity platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, or other enterprise HR/payroll systems.
