About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic Digital team within the London Stock Exchange Group. You will be part of Corporate Engineering, a team responsible for building, releasing and continuously improving LSEG’s Tier 1 corporate websites, turning design and ideas into components that exceed our customers’ expectations. These corporate websites act as the public face of LSEG, and maintaining their freshness, relevance, safety, performance, and reliability is paramount.
Our mature Agile development team works collaboratively across analysts, developers, and testers to deliver multiple high-value, high-risk digital products and initiatives from conception to launch. This role is ideal for a collaborative and creative Technical Product Manager who facilitates the design, development, and maintenance of mid to large Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and AWS implementations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering on Digital strategy and capability projects while becoming a domain expert for your applications and projects
- Conducting thorough business process analysis to understand workflows and systems, documenting current processes, and creating requirements and use cases for new processes
- Leading the analysis, design, and implementation of AEM sites, drafting detailed business requirements, use cases, and system interaction diagrams
- Collaborating with business and technology partners to define product strategy, requirements, wireframes, and mock-ups
- Sharing a comprehensive view of required functionality to ensure end-to-end precision in software delivery
- Partnering closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, InfoSec, Architecture, and SRE teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Defining and tracking product health metrics such as availability, error rates, deployment risk, defect leakage, and technical debt
- Establishing a solid foundation for SaFe Agile development by providing clear direction and purpose
- Maintaining a prioritized backlog and liaising with development teams and stakeholders to manage expectations
- Leading requirement breakdown and estimation sessions with multiple development teams
- Driving quality assurance and software testing efforts with a focus on automated testing and DevOps enablement
- Developing and reviewing test plans, cases, and reports to measure product quality and test strategy effectiveness
- Proposing and implementing software testing strategies for digital transformation initiatives
- Owning software lifecycle quality documentation
- Contributing to project discoveries, business cases, kickoffs, proposals, and statements of work following company standards
Experience
- Proven background in product management or product ownership delivering large-scale websites and cloud projects, preferably in regulated environments
- Strong understanding of the Software Delivery Lifecycle and delivery methodologies such as Scrum, SaFe, and Kanban
- Experience managing senior stakeholders, resolving conflicts, aligning priorities, and making clear, defensible decisions
- Authoritative knowledge and experience with cloud implementations; AWS knowledge is a plus
- Experience leading people, mentoring Product Owners and Business Analysts, and improving delivery practices
- Proficient understanding of website components and features including Digital Asset Management, workflows, site search, customisations, integrations, and analytics
- Experience creating and maintaining functional specifications for website templates, components, authoring widgets, and workflow customisation
- Exposure to working with content authors and integrating websites with backend systems and data sources
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility requirements
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Experience working with onshore and offshore teams
- Champion usage of Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) or Asana

Qualifications
While specific qualifications are not detailed, experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), AWS, and web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and React.js is highly desirable. Knowledge of UX/UI principles and some development or maintenance experience related to AEM platform code is a plus.
