About the Role
As a Quality & Contracts Officer within the Live Well service, you will manage and monitor relationships, contracts, and risks across markets to ensure the effective commissioning and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services that achieve positive outcomes for Waltham Forest residents. Your role includes monitoring Adult Social Care suppliers’ performance and contractual standards to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective services. You will conduct both planned and unplanned contract performance and monitoring visits, sometimes in coordination with system partners such as Safeguarding and Health colleagues. You will maintain and robustly monitor performance frameworks, produce detailed reports reflecting monitoring visits, identify areas for improvement and risk, and manage the process while keeping system partners informed. Contract monitoring visits may take place locally within Waltham Forest as well as in and out of London as required. Please note this role does not provide Skilled Worker visa sponsorship; applicants must already hold UK work authorisation that does not require sponsorship.
Experience
Experience in contract management, performance monitoring, or a related field is desirable to effectively manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with quality and contractual standards.

Qualifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience. A relevant professional qualification is desirable but not essential.
