£69,957 - £74,199 (pro rata for part-time) with a £2000 retention bonus paid annually in June and December
About the Role
We are seeking creative and enthusiastic Senior Educational Psychologists to join our friendly and supportive team at Waltham Forest EPS. Our service encourages collaborative and flexible working, prioritising professional wellbeing and development. As part of a successful traded business unit within the Local Authority, we offer varied opportunities and quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to develop areas of special interest.
In this senior role, you will support the Principal Educational Psychologist and work collaboratively within the senior leadership team to develop and support the Experts at Hand service delivery, strategic planning, and Local Authority initiatives. You will provide high quality supervision to an EP team including Educational Psychologists, Trainee EPs, and Assistant EPs working in schools and settings.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the delivery of Experts at Hand across the local authority, providing strategic support to Local Authority services such as Youth Justice Service, Virtual Schools, and special schools, and supporting programmes like ELSA / MeLSA and commissioned project work. You will also contribute to the development of a community psychology service team.

Experience
At least three years’ experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist and registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Qualifications
Qualified Educational Psychologist registered with HCPC.
