About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative leader to join our team as Brokerage & Supplier Quality Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated brokerage service that supports residents in accessing the right care and support at the right time. You will ensure services are high quality, person-centred, and deliver the best possible outcomes. Working closely with social workers, health colleagues, care providers, and commissioners, you will shape care solutions that promote independence, choice, and dignity across our community.

This role offers the opportunity to influence how care services are commissioned and delivered, using your expertise in relationship building, market management, and negotiation to improve quality, drive value for money, and support sustainable care provision. You will lead and develop a skilled team, champion continuous improvement, and play a key role in supporting hospital discharge pathways, safeguarding vulnerable residents, and strengthening partnerships across health and social care.

Experience
- Significant experience in brokerage, commissioning, procurement, or supplier management within health or social care.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and managing performance.
- Experience delivering service improvements and achieving cost efficiencies.
- Experience working collaboratively with social workers, health partners, and care providers to support effective hospital discharge and person-centred care planning.
- Experience managing budgets, analysing financial information, and delivering value for money.

Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
- Commissioning and Purchasing qualification or willingness to obtain accreditation.
- Experience using systems such as Mosaic, Oracle, CM2000 Finance Manager, and funding calculators like CareCubed is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of care markets, quality assurance, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining professional body registration.
