About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Performance Analyst to join Waltham Forest’s Business Intelligence service. This role will help deliver our ambitions to strengthen the use of data and analytics across the organisation to support decision-making, drive improvement, and deliver on the Council’s key priorities. The role will focus on children’s social care and involve working across the organisation and with partner agencies to produce data and analytics solutions, including strategic assessments, performance reporting, and statutory data returns. This will ensure that children's social care services have access to robust and timely information to help make decisions, target resources, and manage risk. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days in the office each week, with the possibility of more depending on service requirements. Please note, this role does not offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship; candidates must already hold UK work authorisation that does not require sponsorship.

Experience
Proven experience working in an analytical role. Experience with analytics or business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or SQL. Strong communication skills with experience presenting analysis to senior audiences to inform decision-making and prioritisation.
