About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Accommodation Based Care Team as a Quality Improvement Officer. Reporting to the Commissioning Lead, your key responsibilities will include conducting regular visits to care homes, supported living and extra care housing services; supporting services to complete quality assurance processes; and working with commissioning managers to identify quality improvement opportunities and, where necessary, developing quality improvement plans. You will play a vital role in developing processes and reporting systems that bring together operational information to inform strategic commissioning. You will support the delivery of a Quality Assurance Framework that promotes learning, development and improvement across accommodation-based services and coordinate a range of data and intelligence to produce high-level reports that inform decision making. A strong understanding of the commissioning cycle, adult social care, and market development is essential.

About the Borough
The London Borough of Sutton is located less than 30 minutes by train from Central London, with direct connections to London Victoria and London Bridge. Situated in zone 5, Sutton offers excellent transport links, award-winning parks and open spaces, low crime rates, affordable housing, and great schools. The borough is known for high levels of resident engagement and satisfaction, delivering quality services while addressing financial challenges and involving residents in key issues and local developments.
