About the Role
The role will work on the HS2 project, the UK’s new high speed rail network designed to drive economic growth across Britain by freeing up space on existing railways and connecting 8 of the UK’s 10 biggest cities with fast, reliable, and frequent high-speed services. Costain is delivering the HS2 Rail Systems Tunnel and Lineside Mechanical and Electrical Systems works across the entire HS2 Route (HRS02). The scope includes design, supply, manufacture, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance (until handover) of tunnel and lineside M&E systems, including tunnel services within shafts, tunnels, and cross-passages, as well as low voltage electrical power distribution in the open route. Additionally, Costain will design, supply, install, test, and commission tunnel ventilation systems. The scheme value at award is £500m.
Reporting to the Engineering & Design Lead, the Requirements Manager will collaborate with project engineering, design teams, and other specialists to elicit, understand, analyse, and document requirements for Package 2 of the HS2 Rail Systems Contracts. This role is critical in ensuring that requirements are managed effectively to support successful delivery of the project.
Experience
- Experienced in the use of DOORS to manage project requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience on large infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams is desirable
- Experience in civil engineering or rail projects would be an advantage

Qualifications
