About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator at Costain Group, you will operate the logistics system to deliver team requirements efficiently to construction sites. You will manage accurate site and gate capacity based on planning forecasts and collaborate closely with site teams to ensure compliance with logistics systems. Working alongside suppliers, you will ensure company, vehicle, driver, and system compliance while providing early warning notifications for any non-conformance. You will be responsible for meeting response times to all queries, including managing the logistics email inbox. Your role will also involve producing KPI reports, managing non-conformance issues, and supporting the implementation of solutions to prevent repeat occurrences. You will actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Management System. This role requires adherence to and promotion of logistics processes with a strong emphasis on system compliance and supplier management.

Experience
Experience working with construction sites, suppliers, and drivers is essential. Proven experience in construction site logistics and delivering excellent customer service is required. Sound knowledge of Health and Safety practices is necessary.
