About the Role
The Control Tower Shift Manager will report to the Control Tower Manager and join the SCS Logistics team managing construction logistics across the HS2 main works. You will be responsible for Control Tower Operations during your shift, ensuring all stakeholder requirements are exceeded. This role includes line management responsibility for a team of logistics coordinators, with expectations to lead, coach and develop your team. Key responsibilities include managing daily briefings, promoting high team performance, offering continuous improvement opportunities, deputising for the Control Tower Manager when required, acting as a Control Tower Systems Super User, escalating incidents or problems, managing team performance, and maintaining good working relationships with all stakeholders. This role is ideal for an ambitious, dynamic, and enthusiastic logistics professional eager to contribute to a logistics operation that will be deployed across future major construction projects.

Experience
Experience in construction logistics is advantageous but not essential.
