About the Role
Are you passionate about using research to reduce health inequalities? Tower Hamlets Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) is seeking a Research Officer to join our growing team. We work closely with residents, the local voluntary sector, and universities to embed evidence at the heart of council decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical research skills with compelling communication to influence and engage stakeholders.

You will be part of an innovative and high-profile programme, building a new knowledge and information service, planning and delivering research projects, and supporting the organisation and evaluation of a research programme. This role will help you develop your expertise in research, public health, and partnership working within a supportive yet ambitious team committed to making a difference.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of September 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Experience
Proven ability to generate, find, appraise, and synthesise evidence effectively. Experience in research, public health, or related fields is desirable. Ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

Qualifications
A relevant degree or equivalent experience in research, public health, social sciences, or a related discipline is expected.
