Salary
£47,367 to £49,509 per annum (PO2). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point for the grade, except where matching current salary (up to the maximum) is evidenced.

This role involves delivering a high-quality statutory review service for homelessness and housing decisions. You will ensure all reviews, appeals, and complaints are thoroughly investigated and completed within legal deadlines. The position requires making complex, legally robust decisions, managing a demanding caseload, and liaising closely with solicitors, MPs, the Ombudsman, and partner agencies. You will also drive service improvement by identifying issues, providing guidance to staff, and promoting a strong homelessness-prevention approach. Experience
Relevant experience in homelessness and housing legislation is required. Ability to confidently apply complex law to real cases and manage a fast-moving, demanding caseload while meeting strict statutory deadlines.

Skilled in writing high-quality responses for MPs, the Ombudsman, and vulnerable households while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
