About the Role
We are seeking a Reward and Performance Advisor to join our dedicated People Services department. In this key supporting role, you will contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of our reward, recognition, and performance management initiatives. Working closely with the Reward & Performance Manager and other stakeholders, you will help ensure that reward and performance processes are effective, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the design, delivery, and review of salary, grading, benefits, and recognition programmes by preparing data, reports, and materials for review. You will collaborate with the People Service Centre team to deliver cyclical reward processes, ensuring communication and documentation, including training materials for managers and employees, are up to date and published.
Additional duties include assisting with reports and audits related to reward and benefits, conducting benchmarking, job evaluation, and market research, liaising with external providers to gather market data, and supporting the ongoing development of performance management processes. You will provide first line advice and guidance on reward and performance matters to managers and employees, ensuring responses are clear, consistent, and timely.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal, compliance, and industry requirements is essential to support policy and practice compliance. Experience
Experience supporting reward and recognition programmes in complex organisations. Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience handling HR or people data.
About you
Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities. Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and HR systems.
Qualifications
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C). CIPD qualified or holding a relevant reward qualification.
