About the Role
Positive Change Service, part of the Children’s Social Care, MASH and Assessment & Intervention Service, is seeking a permanent Safety Worker to work with perpetrators of domestic abuse. This post is specified for a male worker as an occupational requirement to enable mixed-gender co-facilitation in group work with fathers. The service delivers psycho-educational interventions with perpetrators, survivors, and children impacted by domestic abuse, aiming to improve the safety and wellbeing of families in Tower Hamlets.
The role involves both group and individual work with clients, liaising with referrers and other stakeholders. Typical client engagement lasts from six months to a year and may include assessment, groupwork, individual work, and co-parenting interventions between (ex)-partners. All work is focused on increasing the safety of children and adult survivors of domestic abuse.

Experience
Some experience delivering domestic abuse behaviour change work and working with parents towards children’s safety is required.
