About the Role
In 2012, Thom & James drove a Piaggio ape Tuk Tuk all the way from Sicily to London on a 'Pilgrimage' to learn the secrets of perfect Italian pizza. They started with a market stall in Soho before opening their first pizzeria on Dean Street. Today, Pizza Pilgrims has over 20 award-winning pizzerias across the UK, a dedicated Pizza Academy offering daily training workshops, and is proud to be a BCORP certified company.

We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients from Naples including Caputo flour, fresh fior di latte, and salsiccia e friarielle to craft authentic Neapolitan pizzas every day. As a Second Pizza Chef, you will specialize in creating the best Neapolitan pizzas, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Your responsibilities will include team leadership, health & safety compliance, stock management, successful guest pizza launches, kitchen maintenance management, and food quality auditing.

Experience
Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment, preferably with pizza or Italian cuisine, is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key.
