We are seeking a Senior Architect to join our Arcadis Living practice in the UK. This role involves designing and delivering small to complex Mixed Use and Residential projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be a passionate and creative professional with hands-on experience managing the full architectural project lifecycle, including preliminary concept design, detailed design, and production of contract and permit drawings. This role includes client-facing responsibilities and managing project teams.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing complex projects and teams, assisting with project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control, and identifying risks with mitigation strategies. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, present design solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. You will contribute to fostering a culture of design excellence within the Living practice, assist with business development proposals, mentor junior architects, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.

Requirements

Experience
Minimum 10 years of related architectural experience.
Proven track record in designing and delivering Mixed Use and Residential projects.
Registered with the ARB (UK) as an Architect.
Strong hands-on experience with Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
Experience leading design teams and managing project deliverables.
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Safety Act, and relevant British Standards.
Excellent understanding of building construction systems, materials, and industry standards.
Demonstrated ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
Minimum University Degree in Architecture.
Registered Architect with ARB (UK).
Strong knowledge of accessibility design standards.
Understanding of zoning regulations and project specifications.
Knowledge of relevant British Standards for Mixed Use and Residential development.
