We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team at Chorleywood Manor Care Home. Your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met, and updating written records accordingly. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supporting residents with their medication requirements is also part of your role.
Additionally, you will undertake staff supervisions and support staff development where required. Acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, you will ensure reasonable requests are acted upon and any concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in care for care homes is required.

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
