We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Wandsworth Common Care Home. Your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being while promoting privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Your responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents by listening to them and their families to support the development of detailed life stories; planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans and weekly overviews to the Home Manager; arranging activities, events, and outings while encouraging involvement from staff, relatives, and visitors; and maintaining a safe living and working environment that contributes to the positive and professional image of the home.
Experience
Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting is essential. Experience organising activities and events is required.

Qualifications
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required. An enhanced DBS Disclosure check will be required, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
