We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Intelligent Buildings team, supporting the delivery of smart building consultancy services across strategy, design, construction, and operational phases. In this role, you will lead client-facing strategy development and programme delivery for smart building projects, combining strategic consultancy, commercial rigour, and practical programme management.

You will help clients define their smart building vision, establish investment cases, prioritise use cases, and implement governance and delivery frameworks to transform Intelligent Buildings strategies into functioning systems that create business value. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will translate business needs into prioritised intelligent building use cases that align technology, people, and processes to deliver tangible outcomes.

Your role includes leading multi-disciplinary projects, coordinating with architects, MEP, IT/OT, cybersecurity, vendors, and contractors to meet scope, budget, and programme requirements. You will also support procurement, vendor selection, business development, and internal knowledge sharing, while mentoring junior team members and maintaining awareness of market trends and emerging technologies.

Experience
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, preferably with membership of a professional body such as RICS, APM, IMechE, IET, ICE, or CIBSE.
- Demonstrable experience in programme or project management on digital or smart building initiatives, including strategy, business case development, and delivery phases.
- Proven track record developing business cases, prioritised use cases, and roadmaps for digital/IoT enabled building solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in procurement, supplier evaluation, and contract structures for technology delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including presenting to senior client sponsors and managing governance forums.
- Familiarity with Intelligent Building technologies and architecture (BMS, EMS, BOS, IoT platforms, analytics, OT/IT convergence) sufficient to evaluate technical proposals and align them to strategic objectives.
- Experience delivering change programmes, including user adoption and benefits realisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at simplifying complex topics for executive audiences.
- Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, PMP) or experience with Agile delivery frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience with relevant accreditations such as SmartScore, WiredScore, WELL, LEED, or NABERS.

Qualifications
