About the Role
We are recruiting Senior Content Designers to join Justice Digital, Data and Science as part of a warm and collaborative user-centred design team. This role aligns with the Senior Content Designer position from the Government Digital and Data Framework.

The work focuses on improving experiences for people relying on Ministry of Justice services, often at important or challenging moments. You will help create accessible, inclusive, and user-centred services and guidance that meet people's needs.

You will be part of a thriving design community working alongside multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality services across justice domains including Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority Digital, Legal Aid Agency Digital, and Prisons Digital.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience as a content designer, able to create and iterate clear, accessible user-centred content that communicates complex issues.
Experience working collaboratively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary agile teams.
Experience developing content strategies or identifying content solutions to meet user needs and business objectives.
Experience persuading, influencing, networking and working collaboratively with stakeholders and business leads, including presenting content concepts, propositions and deliverables.
Understanding of end-to-end journeys, content impact, and maintaining consistency.
Experience using data and insights to make design decisions and clearly explain them.
Experience mentoring, coaching and developing junior or mid-weight content designers, supporting career growth and maintaining high-quality content standards.
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for Security Check clearance.
